About
Physician members of the Lamar-Delta County Medical Society are general practitioners and specialists covering all major medical fields. Members are in good standing with the Texas Medical Association and meet regularly for updates pertaining to medically related legislation, current events and trends, and scholarly research and data.
Philanthropy is very important to the Lamar Delta Medical Society. Recent projects included funding bicycle helmets that were donated to children at the 2013 PROJECT BIKE bike rodeo. We also have a recurrent grant to the Paris Lamar County Health Department to fund primary care visits and labs for indigent patients.
The Lamar Delta Medical Society considers small grants to help fund community projects aimed at improving health in our community. A grant application is available for download here.
